So, compassion is the theme of the talks the Dalai Lama is giving while in the U.S.  Did anyone see him talk at Key Arena or Qwest Field?  Lemme know if his circle of compassion extends to animals.

Join us this weekend, April 19th, at the Earth Day Celebration in Victoria, B.C.  The Vancouver Island Vegetarian Association is hosting a sustainable food event in the center behind the legislative building from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  There will be speakers, booths and other fun stuff.
